ACT I, SCENE I: Introduction
Outside. It is cooler and scattered groups of people traverse the sidewalk outside of 508 E. Myrtle. A shot of the driveway shows everybody is there, including Jason.
ACT I, SCENE II: The Idea
Inside. Brief shot shows Scott, Greg, Tom, and Arps listening to tunes in Greg’s room. Camera then moves to show Jason and Chris in the kitchen, preparing knife hits. Jason and Chris form a plan to investigate under the house after they are baked.
ACT I, SCENE III: Powering Up
Kitchen. Rapid series of shots showing Chris and Jason taking five knife hits a piece.
ACT I, SCENE IV: The Hot Knife
Two hits remain on the plateau. Chris says he can’t take any more. Jason points out that to leave hits on the plateau is a deadly omen, but Chris pays no attention.
ACT II, SCENE I: The Expedition
Chris and Jason are shown entering the mist-filled basement through the outside door. With lighters, they make their way in, not noticing anything out of the ordinary.
ACT II, SCENE II: Symptoms
Greg’s Room. Upstairs, the lights flicker and the people there start screaming.
ACT II, SCENE III: NOTHING’S SHOCKING
Basement. Out of nowhere, the Psycho Killer appears, tossing Jason into a wall. Chris rubs his eyes as the Psycho Killer changes into Master Poo, Scott, Arps, and then Chris. Chris stumbles back, hitting his head on a beam and sinking to the dark floor.
ACT II, SCENE IV: The Deception
Basement. Sometime later, Jason awakens to Chris slapping him to consciousness. The two depart and head to Greg’s room to tell the others of their “hallucination”.
ACT III, SCENE I: A Baked Tale?
Greg’s Room. Jason and Chris take pipe hits and tell their story while the others laugh. A knife is shown under the bed, inches from Chris’ hand.
ACT III, SCENE II: Parting Shot
Basement. Camera moves from Greg’s room, outside, to the basement door, and on inside in one continuous shot. Still on one shot, the camera moves through the mist until it shows a close-up of a figure’s face: the real, and unconscious or dead, Chris.
